The Way of the Samurai
Our Lord. If he is the jewel, us Samurais are the mother earth who have forged the jewel. For every battle, for every fame, for every victories he have won, we Samurais were the one who spilled our blood.
Reward is hardly what we Samurai wants.
May it be money, may it be land, may it be fame or may it be women.
Before all those we fight for our lords because our ancestors and ancestors before them have chosen to do so. It is that loyalty which drives us to the battlefield. Yet even that loyalty shakes in certain situation.

Once upon a time, there was a country called Japan.
Country governed by very powerful figured called Shogun.
Under the Shogun and his men, most people was happy.
We move our eyes to the province of Aki.
Province governed by Matsudaira Naritsugu. Soon to be the most powerful men of all Japan.
Province which suffers from no famine, no war.
But hatred of ordinary men.
This is where the story takes place.
On the night of 21st of July 1843 one Samurai committed Seppuku in front of the Shoguns house.
Without any men to cut his head down, he bravely sliced through his stomach, in hope to change what can't be changed.
He left a letter which reads
"Dear Matsudaira Naritsugu Sama. My loyalty is with you even after my death. I have served you for my life time. So if you pity my death I beg you to listen to me. Please do not kill innocent people no further. Dirty they may be, ignoble they may be. They may have refused your request but they are your people. I beg you. For your sake and mine. As a men who are about to become the most powerful man in Japan, please cease killing at once!"

Kitou, the right hand men of Matsudaira Naritsugu came running through the corridor. He gently pushed through the whores and concubines and finally found his master.
"Lord Matsudaira!"
Men he called was practicing archery in the garden.
"Why the rush" he asked calmly.
Matsudaira slowly pulled the arrow and released.
The arrow sliced through the air in deadly speed, impaling the targets forehead.
"My lord? Who are they?" asked Kidou upon recognizing the tied up prisoners. Peasant family of four. Well three now with their father dead.
"Well Kidou. Their daughter refused me. I have no choice but to punish me do I?"
Matsudaira gave a quick glance at Kidou. Kidou sensed a clear message in his eyes saying "question me and you die."
He decided to give up and change the topic.
"Did you read his letter my lord? Urgh... Saitou the financial adviser who killed him self last night."
"Yes. It was boring. Replace him. Bye"
Kidou had no choice but to bow and retire the room.

Around the lake, an Samurai was approached by his old friend.
"Alas. I have found you."
"Long time no see. News from the city I presume?"
"Yes. How about a tea?"

Set ups
Mafia: Starts with two. Wins if they kill Matsudaira Naritsugu.
Town: Kill both starting mafia. Survive 15 night phases. keep Matsudaira Naritsugu safe.
Matsudaira Naritsugu: Easily the most powerful role I have ever made. Need someone active so please volunteer upon joining the game. If there is more then one volunteer random org. If no one volunteers I'll choose. Also he is publicly announced.
Duel System: All players are given a strength rating from 0 to 5. And players may challenge and accept duels as well as vote to lynch. Player with higher strength rating will win, but if its tied random org will be used. Winner gains 1 strength point and loser loses 1. Maximum strength is 5 and it cannot go higher. If strength level goes below 0 then Lord Matsudaira will kill you.
Night action: All players are given the option to protect or to kill. They don't have to coordinate the attacks or protection. It will be automatically calculated. If town member does not send in their order, they will automatically protect Matsudaira Naritsugu.
If the strength of attack is below the victim and its protectors attackers will die and vice versa. If the strength of both faction is equal, no one dies.
Phases: I'm not too strict on time but I'll make it roughly 24 hours for both phases.
