Secondly, you are the weakest by your own actions. You had the support of the mercantile faction, and you lost it by deed. I should forgive you because you merely wanted to kill a sick man? And yet the representative from the merchants fails to add that he actually coerced two members of my own party over to his side with promises of untold wealth, only to then have two of his own have their heads turned by the former Consul's false claims of responsibility for a military victory.

In case this is not clear, the writeup states that two members of Military were bribed away, which means they went over to Mercantile. Then God Emperor's triumph stole those two away from Mercantile over to Religious.

If you cut out the middle man, the Religious faction has basically stolen from Military, which is why Mercantile isn't feeling my wrath. xD

In this case, I am not responsible. It may have been slashandburn who did so; and without my knowledge to boot. I never got any message.

I wondered why our faction didn't suffer a decrease from the Religious attack, and where the Military people went.

I can only offer my most sincere apologies for the action, as I personally feel our ties to Military faction are our strongest ties, and I think jeopardizing such relations is a terrible idea. I condemn such a move.

I would ask that slashandburn restore what was lost to the Military faction when he votes next.

It feels as though you wish to turn aside my votes, but still be able to attack me when the Senate is not in session.

You deny all responsibility for this, and yet, I know what the Religious faction was doing, and so you can't blame them. Who else could it be?
