    Default Family members dying

Hello im new here. Ive just registered to ask this question...its really an issue. Sorry for my english

Ok, so i was just playing when it threw me into desktop, so ive started EB again but when i loaded game again my faction leader died (he was with his army standing outside a city). So i tried different save like 15 mins ago, but again he was dead...

So i said ok... ive taken another family member and crushed some rebels. Saved. Exited the game, returned, loaded and it happened again. My family member died out of nothing... so tell me whats wrong please?

    Thx for answer

Could there be an assassin lurking around? I believe there's a random chance that an FM might die every turn, their age tends to be the main factor in this. It is just random, though, you can literally keep them going for decades with reloads.

Assassins are invisible unless you have spies hanging around to spot them, or they've just tried something and missed their target.

Thats called a "save kill' i guess? ^^
But honestly, i´ve never heard of such a bug, i remember people talking about immortal FMs using ALX.exe, though.

    Welcome to the forum!

See the frequent issues about any other problems you might have with EB.

Concerning you problem, did you alter any game files, are there any mini/sub-mods installed or other main mods inside the same RTW folder?
If you can deny any of those, run a validation and post your current save-games, I'll give them a try at my build. If you upload your files, tell me which exe you are running, what mods are installed and be as specific as possible to describe the steps you made before that problem.

Hi, well i didnt change anything with files. So ive run the validation, it says this:
"You seem to have a corrupt install. There are changes to files, or some are missing.
However, these may be conscious changes you have made, to remod EB. See below for details".

I didnt really do any steps or changed anything before this bug happened. So here are the saves:
    http://ul.to/dovp90
    http://ul.to/6tp9dj

I think these would do... i have another 3 saves if You would want them just tell me...

    Thanks alot for help

Which exe are you running at (RTW/BI/ALX)?
Your characters appear to be bugged total, after loading all got Recruited Generals, one died. Please post the results of your validation. Also check the version number in the main menu, it has to be 1.2

EDIT: After re-reading your opening post, there is a chance that RTW itself corrupts save-games if it crashes. Start a new campaign and check if you find the same problems.
