    Default Alcohol

    Does it change your mood?
Do you become a different person when you are drunk?

Now I have certainly been drunk before (please don't judge me, I come from a long line of alcohol abuse I can't let mum and nana down) however, I am certainly the same person wether I have had 1 drink or 30. I don't become overly violent, sad, depressed or angry.

I am so even keel that my homies have started to take notice

This is not to say I have same God like drinking ability vomit and falls have happened and will happen again

I have also never been much of a wine drinker. I am a beer guy through and through. Vodlka and whiskey would probably be next on that list.

This is depressing because I like to be snotty and hoiler than thou and becoming a wino is the fast track to that (at least in America)
There, but for the grace of God, goes John Bradford

My aim, then, was to whip the rebels, to humble their pride, to follow them to their inmost recesses, and make them fear and dread us. Fear is the beginning of wisdom.

I am tired and sick of war. Its glory is all moonshine. It is only those who have neither fired a shot nor heard the shrieks and groans of the wounded who cry aloud for blood, for vengeance, for desolation.

I wouldnt worry about it Strike just come over to Ireland and you will be seen as a funny guy to be worrying about moodswings cos of drink.

Ireland is the only place on earth where when you go on holidays anywhere in the world the top question you get asked on returning is "How cheap/dear was the drink and was it any good"

No, actually you are quite correct.

Replace Anglo with Presbyterian/Baptist/Methodist/Fundie Protestant cult (what got booted from Britain for getting between them and the drink ) and your in the ball-park.

Kinda funny when you think about it; even us, the stereotypical stuffy britsh, couldnt stand the stuck up gits.

I stop when I'm starting to feel drunk, but I sure as hell know people who are completely different when they had too much.

Well I had a prof. in Community College who was named MacPherson (a lot of Scots immigrated to Canada in the 19th century). He told me about the 2 types of Scotsmen.

1st type Presbyterians: We dun'nae tolerate the devils brew here lad!
2nd type Catholics: *hic* Whens the last time ye were sober mate?

There's more to Britain than England, you know. Rounds these parts we are the stuck up gits. And yet we have a worse drinking culture than even England.
