Default Ostracism - Simple yet challenging game of mafia [Concluded]

Do I see an open slot? If I do, then I proudly present you Ostracism.
For those of you who havn't read my thread on the GAY (), this game is basically a traditional game with 16 players, two mafia. Only difference is that players will make a vote in private to represent the ostracism system in Ancient Athens.

In this game, townies will role play as Ancient Athenians. Civilians all capable of changing Athens for the good. But two amongst you will play spy from Sparta and spy from Persia attempting to weaken Athens for their benefit.

As you won't get to use the most useful mafia tactic, to analyze the votes and words of the players (As the players don't even have to talk if they aren't making votes on thread), this game should be very interesting one to figure out.

To prevent players from working out the voters by honestly confessing who voted for who, system called Dumb tally counter will be used.
I will purposely shift one vote to another so it is harder to figure it out.
However this system won't be used in a close vote count.

Simpler version of rules and system
    -Set in Ancient Athens
    -16 player
-2 mafia, working together (Spartan spy and Persian spy)
    -1 kill per night
-All votes on thread is invalid. You must submit your vote on a pm
-You may only make one vote per round. You may not unvote. (For hosts sake, and to accurately portray the ostricism process)
-1 vote randomly picked by random.org will be shifted to another player. This is to prevent tactics which defeats the purpose of this game.
-May not quote pms. May not post screen shots etc.
    - Be nice to the host. I'm hosting a large game, and exam week is coming up. I have 5 essays to submit

I'm looking for 16 brave players to test out this game.
    List of players 11/16

    Death is Yonder
    Tiberius of the Drake
    Captain Blackadder

I'm interested in how the activity level is going to work though. Things will be quite hard to figure out once inactivity is factored in.

As you won't get to use the most useful mafia tactic, to analyze the votes and words of the players (As the players don't even have to talk if they aren't making votes on thread), this game should be very interesting one to figure out.

If I can get 12 it will be cool. But 10 is good enough for me.

Okay this is the current set up. 11 players. 2 mafias not knowing each other, 1 kill each night so mafia A will get to kill on odd nights and mafia B on even nights. Tally will be randomly manupilated by random.org to prevent the obvious way to win. But only by one or two votes and I won't do that on close vote rounds. Upon tie votes, random.org will randomly decide the victim.

This is the form of standard townie pm
(Insert silly name I came up with here.. Feel free to change it)
    Athenian

You are one of influential Athenian who will do good for Athens on a long run.

Remember that you must make your votes on private.
Also you may not unvote your vote.

    Good luck!

    Night 0

Things are going bad in Athens recently.
And what do Athenians do when things are going bad?
    OSTRACISM!

You write a name in a piece of pottery, put it in a big pot.
Poor fellow who got most names written will go BANG!! Exiled.

Now how do we find those bad eggs?
Simple. Talk, discuss. Being the smartest in the world, Athenians will never lose a debate.
Those who loses must be the spies..

    Start day 1

Having read the stories of Homer and other great natives to our land, it strikes me as a general trend in the common classical hero to be quite the barbarian - Spartan, perhaps?

Sparta may be our enemies, but they are still civilized greeks. The Persians are the savages. What's the matter Diamondeye? Couldn't bring yourself to call your own people barbarian, Diamondeye the Persian spy?

No, there simply aren't any Persian heroes. Addicts, on the other hand...

Hey hey hey, this is not about me and my vices, it's about the spys. I assure you I am no barbarian addict nor am I a traitorous Spartan addict. I hail from a long line of Athenian hedonists, thank you very much.

As a devout Platonist, I have attempted to look to the highest good for guidance. that failing, I have appealed to the God of randomness and through my prayerful dissertations have found Captain Blackadder to be of Persian Origin

For from Parnassus’ heights, enwreathed with snow,
    Gleaming, but now there shone
The oracle that bade us, one and all,
    Track the unnamed, unknown one.
For, lo! he wanders through the forest wild,
    In caves and over rocks,
    As strays the mountain bull,
In dreary loneliness with dreary tread,
    Seeking in vain to shun
    The words prophetic of the central shrine;
Yet they around him hover, full of life.

The spies, if they know each other, will likely bandwagon their votes, as there are no repercussions to doing so.

A spread vote by the Athenians means death in this game. Pick a target and crunch.

Don't discount that. Both understand that they have a partner out there wanting to bandwagon votes with them. Subtle communication is possible.

I've played a lot of mini games with a similar setup; they will work together. If we don't take proactive steps to counter that, the game will be over on the second lynch.
