There's no such thing as trying to hard for Day 1, it's such a bad argument that I've seen used by scums before. It's much better to be trying than giving fluff reasons, or a random vote. Town work starts on Day 1, not later.

If you show me a game where you made a day 1 vote with the same argument, and you were Town, I will unvote you, otherwise my vote stays on you.

Also, Yaro was wanting to lynch a less active player, for strategic reasons, and I agree with him: Given no alternative, it's preferable to lynch a lurker on day 1 (if only to teach them that lurking is unacceptable!)

How about I show you a game where I had exams the day before I made the vote, exams on the day I made the vote, and exams on the day after I made the vote?

Yes it was a cheap cop out, but I was busy and super tired and it was Day 1.
