Why do I get the feeling that some idiot is going to say now is the time to get rid of the queen?

Get rid of the Monarchy after she dies. Make her sign a republican agreement to end the monarchy with her death. Good enough for me.

No point ousting her when she is approaching her dead bed.

Because that would be stupid. It was time to get rid of the Monarchy over 100 years ago, everybody knows that.

Do you honestly believe that "without the queen" you would lose all of your tourism? I had thought you British lot had more sense than that. Whose to say that they would take the Monarchy with them? Couldn't you have the Tower and the Palace without inhabitants? More like a Museum than some asinine support system for inbred wastes of space? I have an idea, take that 43 million and invest it all in upkeep

Your ignoring that to a British person republicanism means theocratic autocracy and oppression. While Monarchy mean personal freedoms, rule of law, democracy, and all that warm fuzzy stuff that keeps dem prols in line.*

I just love how the media is not talking about the Muslims Brotherhood or how the Egyptians just love to attack our reporters (Anderson Cooper and others, Laura Logan as of recent) and was just briefly covered, but lets show happy pictures of the protesters.

    Go liberal media!!

Yes, I noticed how nobody ever discussed the Muslim Brotherhood. (14,900 news listings in the last week)

And nobody mentioned Anerson Cooper's attack. (3,200 articles in the past week)

And who's thie Lara Logan you speak of? As a victim of the librul media, I never heard of her. (3,100 articles in the past week)

Now, I have to ask, did you think up this "liberal media" thing all by yourself? Is it home-grown? Did you think this one through? You wouldn't maybe be parroting something you heard on the radio, perhaps? 'Cause let me tell you, brother, if you thought up the "liberal media" meme all on your own, you are sitting on a goldmine.
