    So how do you control ninja???

    I assume they are not invisible'while moving and can easily be slaughtered if intercepted en route to a target as they would be visible and weak against heavier elite troops.

    my questions are

    1) are they like chameleon/predator movies and practically invisible when standing still?

    2)or are they invisble only while in wooded areas and if enemy troops go into these woods is it like predator films and all the enemy units are wiped out while blindly trying to find their opponents.even if nobody goes in the woods the ninja's are visible as soon as they leave the woods and have to hope their target is close by for a suprise attack?also if an enemy unit does go in the woods and don't see the ninja's and the player controlling the ninja's does not order an attack'do they just pass thru the woods and no combat takes place?

    3)can ninja attack any unit'or are the specifically taisho killers?

    You know how units "hide" in the current game? You move them into a forest, then they stand there for a while, and suddenly disappear (go to "in cover" status) until you move them again. Well, my guess is that the BNinjas work in the same way, except that they can do it in other terrain than just forest - maybe all terrain. Probably they will also be like the current hidden units in that they will be detected if an enemy unit moves close enough, even if nobody moves or any combat takes place.

    AFAIK the BN can attack any unit.

    being a sneaky sort, i've wondered about this too. i do remember a reference a while back that the ninjas would be able to hide in open ground.

    i suppose it depends on how they model it. if you've ever watched a deer meandering across a field at 200 yards away, you know that as long as it's moving it's very easy to see. when it stops, it's sometimes almost impossible to see it unless you know right where to look and even then you may have to look twice.

    if i were doing it, i would make ninjas blend into any territory like the current units blend into the woods, but in woods, i would make the ninja almost impossible to find unless you practically stepped on him. i would also allow him to walk (not run) in woods and remain concealed. he's just one man, not 60, and he is a stealth unit. presumably there is enough cover in woods to allow for this.

    taishos are going to have to be much more careful in the new game. standing to the rear of your army will no longer be a relative guarantee of safety.

    i can also see the need for some special slots during the setup phase of multi. 16 units just isnt going to be enough any more, not if some of those units are only single entities. i'd like to see 4 more unit slots added to the game, but those additional slots could ONLY be used for single entity units like the kensai and the ninja. this wouldnt add that much extra drain on computer resources since you only have to track a maximum of 4 more men and not 4 x 60. just changing to 80 man units adds a significant amount more than that. you wouldnt get any extra koku for this. you still have to allocate koku accordingly but you could then get these extra units without telling your enemy, who sees you've only got 14 units on the field, that you have 2 units in hiding somewhere. he then knows to check all woods and to watch his back, even more so than he might normally.

    Krae I think the unit size if the battlefied ninja is 40 not just 1 person. I could be wrong been a while since I checked the new units descriptions.

    I think BNinjas and sanda bomas both have a 1/3 ratio with normal units. That is

    60 man units --> 20 man BN/TB
    80 man units --> 27 man BN/TB
    100 man units -> 33 man BN/TB
    120 man units -> 40 man BN/TB

    This is my assumption based on what I have read so far in the various reviews and whatnot. If anyone knows otherwise, please disclose...

    I thought that they were 2 thirds not 1 third.
