its juust because i want the Polybian Reforms before the most cities turn Huge(which Carthage does around 252 BC), i really want to see them in roman style, because the Eastern Cities (Vanilla look) looks ugly...

nah as long as you don't ask for the release date of EBII or Lorica segmentata(don't even think of it!!!!) you're perfectly safe.

apart from that I'd rather suggest you do not cheat with the console but simply change the requirements for the reform, I'm not quite sure what you have to change for that, but there aredozens of threads about changing reform triggers even one lately could still be on the first page, about marian reforms afaik. if not just use the search function, try something with marian reforms or the linke

Not really certain what your situation is. Are you playing Romani or are you playing Kart-Hadast? For triggering Polybian reforms that is important, as in one case you need to modify the requirements for a human player, in the other for an AI faction.

Another thing is you are probably waiting for the "March of Time" event (city in Italy turning huge, held by SPQR), which you can't really mod into existence. The closest you can come is to give all Romani cities in Italy that qualify for this event a population of 24000.

The Polybian reforms come pretty quickly. And cities don't grow that quickly.

You can always use cheats to keep the African cities' population low?

so I was right and there is no reason to pump up your pop. so anyway just change the reform prerequistes and sit back, heisenberg says "relax"!

and fyi it actually is the FIRST entry when you do a forum search for marian reforms it cannot be that difficult - and no, I will not post the link even if i have it in my buffer :P

You only need to reach 242BC for the Polybian reforms to trigger, along with holding Sicily and Cisalpine Gaul.

add population -10000 will also help keep those large cities from turning huge.

Liburnes and covered Liburnes.

The best way to be able to romanise everything, is to change the EDB so that only the SPQR can build huge cities.
