Are you saying that Renata was wrong to vote you without a reason, but your vote against fluffy is fine, for saying he's a spammer? I don't understand how your vote is better. Like I pointed out to GE on day 1, placing a vote without a reason is at least equal (and arguably better), than giving a fluff reason. I understand that fluff reasons have a fun factor on Day 1, but we're Day 2 now.

Why exactly are we voting Zack? All I see is a nice little bandwagon starting to form. In the interest of avoiding that, I'll vote:god Emperor for telling people who to vote for without good reason.

What you see is a second vote on Zack.. that in itself should not be grand offense, imo. But the reason was quite simple.. as you noticed, I wrote that I wanted to see how a second vote is being handled by Zack and other parties. I don't think day 1 is enough to place good cases, at least I am not good enough to do that.. so giving another stab in the dark.. what I see is a Zack that get's extreemly jumpy as soon as he sees he is in the lead ; I may naturally be wrong

Okay, two things. Why bother to point out to Romanic NOW that your challenge to him on the previous day was a joke? Why address this post of Romanic’s at all? It wasn’t even addressed to you. Worried he might have taken your attempt to be flippant and lighthearted in the wrong way? And then there’s the gratuitous smilie, which really wasn’t warranted. You look like you’re trying to present an image of “hey woo, I’m just having a good old time here, nothing serious going on”, but it’s not coming off quite right. Because you do care. (You’re also wrong to characterize Zack as extremely jumpy for merely frowning at two rapid votes coming against him.)

154 – a “why” to yaropolk voting me after Diamondeye-the-dead called me scummy. Interesting mostly because GE didn’t follow up on it.

167 – reminds people that ties will result in no lynch, hence there’s no point in trying for one. So he knows the rules. Hardly suspicious in itself, but the scum wouldn’t get that wrong. This is not good enough... We know a tie means no lynch.. and there was a tie yesterday, so Zack was never 'saved' by anyone. Thus your reason, if any, should be regarded as invalid.
judging by yesterday, Zack is today the absolute most easy target to vote for today, and people who are attacking him today should be focused on.

Okay, first the good stuff: at least GE is following on his challenge of Yaropolk from the previous day. That’s good. Here’s the bad. Scum knew there was nothing suspicious in Zack being saved, because they didn’t do it. Townies are mostly going to at least wonder otherwise. What does GE do here?

"Tie = no lynch, so Zack was not saved." False logic. If such an order to save Zack had been sent by scum, it most likely would have been placed early (unless the person involved could have been around exactly at the deadline, and maybe even then) so as to avoid last-minute vote changes or to avoid the necessity of a last-minute save by another scum. Zack could have been saved, and there is no reason accessible to a townie for God Emperor to logically conclude that he was not.
"Zack is the easiest target." This much is true, no argument. But I think a scum would have been more comfortable making this conclusion than a townie would.

None of that’s definitive. But the next post, I think, is. It comes after DiY has made his long argument that Zack was saved by scum and I have claimed Mayor Quimby.

I agree that the nature of the ability is somewhat anti townish.. Normally it wouldn't but in this game, where ties means no lynch, a tie breaking ability is working against the town's wishes as it will shorten the time we have to work with.

Zack is very aggresive, seems to care about the game, and is not working very hard to catch scum.. these are some of the points, and the first two bits I agree with, but for the sake of being fair I think we should go over his posts, to see how actively he is searching for scum.

I would say DiY is correct on Zack's behavior.. Zack is not trying to catch scum and that does not go well in hand with serious behavior.

Through here it’s OK. I don’t entirely agree with this characterization of Zack’s behavior to date, but as I said to DiY around the same time, it’s not obviously wrong. So no issue.

But honestly, that made a lot of sense, and given the lack of much else to go on at this point, there really isn't much reason not to vote:zack

Well all righty, enough of that.

I'm Mayor Quimby, and the tie-breaking vote was mine. It was not a one-off; it will show up whenever I am part of a bandwagon that is tied with any other for the lead at the end of the day. (It will not *cause* a tie.) Hence why Khazaar got lynched; I was voting for him.

I was wondering who would be the first to portray this as an anti-town power and why; and who would conclude that it was NOT an anti-town power, and why. I won't reliably be around until this evening, so this is as far as I can let it run.

According to her post, Zack was not saved ad the accusation on Zack is more or less BS "Well all righty, enough of that."
I believe DiY points out that her focus is off.. anyway I will second his opinion (as I have done a couple of times now) .
She has nothing to say in regard of Zack's allignment.
As stated before this ability has a scummy feel to it, and that alone should mark down Renata as suspicious.

Here’s where the real issues arise. God Emperor has JUST, in his last post, said that this ability is NOT scummy. Let me paraphrase: “Ties are no lynch, so Zack wasn’t saved”. Where is the mental struggle involved in God Emperor’s 180 degree change of heart? I see absolutely nothing to indicate that he is legitimately trying to work through the implications here. What I see is

--- A knee-jerk “not scummy” (because he knows it isn’t)
--- (DiY makes long and well-reasoned post – though wrong – post implicating both me and Zack)
--- “DiY makes good points and this ability has a scummy feel to it”

God Emperor is being completely opportunistic here. He realizes his first instinct on how to deal with the situation was a tactical mistake, so he “changes his mind”, but there’s no conviction, little trace of the path he took to get from point A to dead-opposite point B. What is there instead? Some ingratiating smilies, a ton of mentions of how much he agrees with the dead townie, and deflecting comments as to why Zack should be lynched even if he is wrong about me (because he knows he is), just on Zack’s behavior.

imo there are two things to look at when it comes to her

1) Why did she so quickly come to Zack's aid and reveal her ability?

2) How has her voting patterns and similar been so far. She is in charge of a powerful (and harmful) ability, and she should thus tread with caution. There is a certain quote I wanted to reach :p

That's hard to overlook concidering the suspicion that has been gathered Zack.. If Zack turns out to be scum, then Renata should go. Zack was saved and he was saved by Renata.

At first I failed to see what you mean by this .. but it can make sense if we assume there are 3 mafia.. but that was never something that has occured to me in this game.. If there are only 2 mafia, then your move only points towards Zack as the others are not affected by your change.

Marge Simpson could hardly sleep. The deaths of little Lisa Simpson and little Bart Simpson played in her mind over and over again. She stood in the kitchen, chopping.... was she preparing a meal? Or was she finding comfort in the familiar, repetitive motion? No mother could possibly withstand the loss of her children, without losing control. Perhaps she had gone quietly mad.

Or perhaps, she was never sane to begin with.

A familiar cloud of smoke filled the room, tickling her nose. She continued cutting.... slicing.... chopping..... and chopping. The long, deadly blade cleaving apart vegetables and meat..... the splatter getting all over the counters, the walls, and even her face.

She looked coldly out the window, with the bloody juices dripping down her stern-looking face. A cruel smile began to form.... a wicked, insane smile.

Marge Simpson: "Never send a monkey to do a man's job."

Monkey on roller skates: Ooooh oooh ooooh AHHHHH AHHHH!!!!

Marge Simpson: "SHUT UP!"


The monkey rolled forward, and raised the revolver, pointing it at the Simpson matriarch.

You finally saw what must be done, and you finally found the courage to do it. But, it seems, your primate brain has finally come up short. You see, everything that has transpired has done so according to my design. When you snapped and finally killed Krusty the Clown, I knew you were ready.... ready to rain destruction and carnage down upon Springfield. You and your partner!"


The monkey screeched in panic.


Marge Simpson: "Yes, I know about him, too! It was I who drove him over the edge! It was I who made him go insane! Your minds were already nothing but tightly wound strings, stretched beyond all reason, ready to snap. You have both been wronged by the people of Springfield, and you wanted to exact revenge upon them, but your feeble moralities got in the way.... I have simply made things clearer for you. Yes, my puppets, you have done for me what I've failed to do, so many times.... you've put Bart and Lisa Simpson to death. And for that, I will always be grateful."


The monkey began to sweat profusely, eyes darting back and forth, looking for an exit.



Marge Simpson: "But, my little simian friend, you've still proved to be bumbling and incompetent. You were supposed to kill them all... and you've failed to do so. Kill everyone in Springfield. Never send a monkey to do a man's job."



With a flick of her wrist, Marge Simpson sliced open the elastic bands holding her hair up. The hair billowed outward, revealing that below the blue highlights, it was red underneath.

The monkey looked on in horror to see Krusty's old nemesis.... and arguably, the craziest, most evil man in Springfield. He pointed the gun at Bob, shaking wildly....



Sideshow Bob: "FOOLS! I should have known you wouldn't be able to do this yourselves. That's why I've come back to Springfield, to personally finish the job. And I won't be needing you anymore... or your master. You've been nothing put pawns in my little game. And if you had been able to do your jobs without my help, I might have let you live. But seeing you here, now... I realize you're just in my way.

Like all the other poor players on the Springfield stage, it's time for your final curtain to fall. Good-bye.... Mister Teeny!"

*BANG!*

Sideshow Bob: "What cruel fate.... to see the queen fall at the hands of a pawn. What cruel irony.... to be foiled by my own fiendish plans.... to fall right before the finish line.... to drink from the bitter cup of defeat once more. The last time I saw a mafia mastermind set-up the mastermind chose the mafia [Godfather 1]. I wouldn't put it past pizza for another twist in the mechanic though, I won't be surprised if it turns out that robbie had to choose the mafia but he was a SK and on a different team from them.

Whether or not he chose the other two is fun speculation but ultimately WIFOM -- I don't think that I for one know robbiecon well enough to guess who would make a good choice for him. What's crystal clear is that they did not know who he was. Whether they knew of a mafia mastermind's existence and were, erm, "unwise" enough to take a second shot at the apparent bulletproof regardless; or whether they were under the mistaken impression they were the only two mafia in the game is not known.

I do think it's safe to say that both the other two mafia have cover roles of some sort, given that robbie did.

I also think it very unlikely he was not on the same team as them.
