can somebody please help. I had to reinstall the game, so i can only play as the 3 roman factions. I tryed editing it by putting brition in the playable section and it wont let me save the new settings, it comes up with this:-

i just used oliphaunts to unlock it normals and smashed the Guals in about 5 turns....go me

You must remove "britons" from the "unlockable" list. You should then be able to save the file(I think).

copy descr_strat to desktop, put all factions in playable section (personally i didnt put slaves at playable) and then replace it with the original file. If it doesnt let you edit the file, uncheck read only, edit file, recheck read only, then replace file.

That should work for Vista.
