Thread: Question about the moral point system of units

Default Question about the moral point system of units

I already know that the discipline trait makes unit harder to rout and the training trait makes it faster in making a formation.

But I am just wondering the following difference of units:

A: If a unit is trained and impetuous with moral 11 but is upgraded up to moral 13 or 15

    V.S

B: Unit which is highly trained and disciplined with moral 13.

Does the discipline trait equal about extra 2 moral points or such? And does the discipline trait matter if the moral point of impetuous unit is about 13-15 points?

Just wondering about upgraded Bataroas v.s Neitos since the former has very good stamina trait and the latter none.

And other irrelevant question: Do you know how to add Rhodian slingers to the unit rosters of western barbarian factions in the Multi-player roster (Averni, Aeduiu, Lusotana, Sweboz, Getai, Casse)?

    Oh and one other thing:

How much penalty do units get to their attack, defense and morale when exhausted? Does it really matter that much to have exhausted Neitos against Fresh infantry units who cost between 1500-1950?

I think Neitos attack is 11 and defense 25.

AFAIR ( from Aradans guide on twc ) discipline speeds up the regeneration of the morale loss through whichever reason - that´s why the units might be weaving, but then switch to shaken quite fast, while impetuous ones need longer to gain their confidence, and therefore easier to rout.
What do you mean by "upgraded to.." ? The moral boosting of those temples or other buildings? I think it´s somehow broken, no one seems to know how it really works, since those values aren´t shown on the unit cards like other stats.

Training indicates how tight units are grouped in their formation, though i don´t know, maybe they really perform better changing their formations ( from my, subjective, experience, it´s the command ablilities - aka stars - of the general, which make them follow orders better ).

Also, iirc, it´s the lethality of the tired units that drops, not their actual attack stats, but i might be wrong....
    - 10 mov. points :P

In regard to upgrades then I am talking about upgrading unit with one experience (chevron) in custom battles/multiplayer. I think it increases defense and attack by one, along with 2 extra moral points.
