Srsly? I bet Shogun will have armies of flaming pigs and Arcani... I couldn't bare to play that. Perhaps a few days before i got bored. I played EB for 3 years before i stopped (thankfully i started working on NOM, so i don't want to play the old one till we finish our own :D), i can't imagine how long i'll be hooked on EB II...

I didn't play the original Shogun, and have no interest in the new one either. Same goes both incarnations of Medieval, I've only bought the second so I can play EB2 with it.

Somebody will play S2 after they port it to console

The same thing was said about EB1 and M2:TW. People are still playing that.

If you are unhappy about EB2's progress I suggest you help the team out rather than badger them with messages like this. I wish the work went faster too, but EB is a volunteer project.

Yes Shogun 2s graphics may be prettier but look at how deep the team made EB compared to MTW2. Client kings, regionally restricted troops, the agoge training school, the druidic school in Anglesey, so many reforms for so many factions. Shogun 2 will be a very pretty puddle compared to the deep, murky lake that will be EBII.
