I drink both, but prefer coffee. With milk and sugar or sugar alone. Enjoy latte, cappuccino or macchiato very much.

Not a big fan of tea, but I can enjoy it on occasions; goes best with cookies. Love turkish apple tea.

Nothing beats coffee+chocolate though; that's a match made in heaven

Isn't latte just milk and Macchiato the short form of Latte Macchiato?

On that note, is it correct that Latte Macchiato is Espresso with milk and Cappuccino is Coffee with milk or what is the difference exactly?
And what differentiates a so-called milk-coffee from those two? I ask because we serve all three at work but I never really got the difference, the machine has "Espresso beans", Coffee beans and milk to mix them together.

I have an iced tea brewer. I use it 2-3 times a day, makes a rather large pot of tea. I like to mix mostly black tea with some flavored, no sugar. Mint, ginger, peppermint, etc are my favorites. Occasionally fruit teas as well.

Nothing can be compared with fine red wine. I have a few glasses, always with good company and within a few hours, about every ten days or so.

Depends where you come from I think.

Here in Melbourne a latte is an espresso shot with hot milk and a stiff foam on top. More milk than a cappuchino and a stiffer foam, no chocolate flakes on top.

a Macchiato (which means 'stained' in Italian I'm told) is a long black (espresso shot with extra hot water) with a smudge of milk foam on the top.
