Question RTW on modern systems - performance?

So I'd like to hear from anyone who's still got RTW installed and has a pretty modern PC. We're talking no more than a year old, the newest i5 and i7's and the Phenom II's, good amounts of ram, and a decent video card.

What I'd like to know is what your system specs are, and how many men can you have on the battlefield and have it remain above 30 frames/sec? General comments on performance would be great.

    OS:Windows 7 Ultimate 64bit
    CPU: i7 930 @4.00ghz
    MOBO:Asus Rampage II Extreme
    GPU:Radeon 5970 xfx Black Edition
    RAM: 6GB Corsair Dominator
    HD:Samsung F3 1TB

Max everything can get a 15-20 fps with max amount of men possible 240x20x8=38400.

By the gods, THAT is impressive! Is that all 38400 men at the same time? Does it ever drop below 15-20 fps?

Its tricky to get everyone on screen but if I do thats the general fps.Rome only uses 1 core so my I7 is hobbled.I'll try and get a pic.
