Wouldn't they use other players while the current ones were on strike? I thought I remember the NFL doing that some years ago. The play wasn't as exciting, but at least the season didn't get cancelled.

I don't think they could use scabs this time around. It would be a lockout, not a strike, so it's not players refusing to play.

They'll get something in place. After the TV money judgment, the owners won't be so keen to let games go unplayed.

And I stand corrected. This one is going to the courts, and it's probably going to get ugly. I'm hoping the players get the audited books of the teams, the waste and nepotism some owners engage in needs to come out, if only for the lulz.
