    Default Margravate of Brandenburg-Bohemia

    Margravate of Brandenburg-Bohemia

The leader of the House of Brandenburg-Bohemia styles himself as a Margrave, and has his main court in the castle of Magdeburg. Although Magdeburg was hardly the richest province when the house was created by Theodericus der Bartige in 1114, it had prior to this been transformed into the Reich's leading military center. As such, members of the house all have access to the best training grounds in the Reich, and can take part of the castle's traditions of discipline. If such is not to a member's taste, the castle is surrounded by forests, with plenty of hunting opportunities, and if a proper city life is preferred, secondary locales are available in Prague as well.

As the Margrave is within his house first and foremost a military rank, the Margrave is expected to take a big responsibility over the Duchy's armed forces. As such his place is always in command of Magdeburg whenever he is not out campaigning in the field.

The prominent figures of Brandenburg-Bohemia includes:

Margrave: Theodericus der Bartige (The Celtic Viking)

    Count Harold Merode (Ignoramus)

    Provinces under Brandenburg-Bohemia's control:

Brandenburg, c. Magdeburg, o. Theodericus der Bartige
Bohemia, c. Prague, o. Theodericus der Bartige

    Battles:
The Battle of Magdeburg, 1116 CE
The Liberation of Frankfurt, 1119 CE
The Second Battle of Magdeburg, 1122 CE
The Battle of Prague, 1129 CE
