But i do care about the traits of my FMs, roleplaying the whole game accordingly. Now, give a FM a "Cook" ancillary, for example, and he will become a bigger change to be watchfull, rather then beeing careless; this is not game decesive, but due to selfperpertuating traits ( which i sometimes really hate - why must every general who is a "social drinker" inevitably become a "drunkard", unless you put him in a town with "jupiter" temple line, trying to reverse his doom?! ) my best field generals often become completly "careless of security", even if they can gain a "sword bearer" ancillary or a "heroic saviour" afterwards. Some people do not care, or take this things "easy", i guess, but i prefer to identify myself, while roleplaying, with those characters, and enjoy the great atmosphere created by EB team through establishing of personalities of the family members.
Btw: if some one knows what event/building etc. is triggering "welcoming to the foreigners" trait, i would really apreciate the sharing of it - it drives me sometimes crazy, since it is almost impossible to get rid of enemy spies, unless you put 10 of your own, plus assasins, in the settlement with a general "fascinated by outsiders".... ( my last Pontus campaign ended up with 90% FMs gaining that trait, and those pesky AI used to terrorize my towns to death^^ ).
