RTW hotseat games

Guys, I've been playing in the Throne Room here for a few weeks, doing hotseat m2tw games with other playesr from totalwar.org. It has recently been explained to me, that hotseat games where we each pick a faction, play it's turn, then send the save over to the next player, is actually possible for RTW.

Does anyone want to give this a try? I can look into how it's done exactly and help set it up!

Well I will put in the effort and do the research but if no one else wants to join maybe it will be just me and RS versus the AI. Perhaps set up some kind of goal, like take Rome and butcher every Roman faction? (we wait for them to go berzerk first for more fun)

It is indeed possible and this thread over at TWC might give you some pointers as to how it can be done.

We would be honoured to host such a game in the Throne Room - maybe post a recruitment thread over there and see what interest you get?
