Teacher Did Porn. So What?

Teaching along with other professions generally has guides on professional conduct which usually includes bringing the profession into disrepute. She probably fell foul of this one.

Professional standards apply only to you once you've joined a particular profession. From what I understand of the case, she did porn before she ever began teaching so couldn't be held to those standards.

If ever there was a fault, it was committed by the screening of the employer...

As to her resignation, a clue might be found in the fact that the school was situated in an affluent suburb... I'm sure the issue would have been different had it been situated in a less wealthy community...
