    Default Celtic Creation Myths

I'm doing a assignment on Celtic Religion and am struggling to find information regarding "principal beliefs concerning the origins of the universe".

I don't know any particular book to suggest, but look for Eiocha, sea-foamed horse who gave birth to Cernunnos and all the other gods...

The Celts, by Venceslas Kruta. excelent book about history. and also a dictionarry about celtics terms and pooper names. You find all want to find about celts culture and history in that one book!

it´s not certain but it seems the celts pretty much celebrated like everyone the else the solstices and equinociuns and their new year (samram?) is what we today call the halloween/all saints day

also if you could writte and essay or just post what you´re presenting here after it would be cool i must admit i don´t know much about celts or at least as much as i would like to (unlike baltic/germanic presentations it seems the balts and the sweaboz got a bigger detail about their menthality and belief sistems and cultural organisation then the kelts per se but then again we got nice previews on the tribal culture of the arverni british celts eduii and boii )

Celtic Civilisation by J. Markdale is an excellent read, and mentions a number of different celtic myths. I don't think it deals with an origin story though

googling reveals what everyone else recommends. I only hope their creation myths weren't like the Atun creation myth from Egypt
