Hmmm... well it's noting like mushroom texture. It's nothing like anything else really... I'm not a fussy eater so I can't really relate to texture related likes/dislikes. All I know is that it's bloody good.

^^ Squid is yummy.
@cute wolf: Squid is delicious as snack, batter it, fry it with a little seasoning, a generous squirt of lime or lemon. Invite friends, and arrange a movie marathon --> 10kg will be gone before you know it. What you do need to be aware of is that fresh squid may contain hard shards of a translucent material which make it easy to cut your fingers while “cleaning” the squid.

The "bone" is easily remove if you do so before you slice the squid up. After you remove the head, just grab hold of the end of the bone and pull it out in one piece.Originally Posted by Tellos Athenaios
