I used to wear this style of headware a couple years back. Scared the living hell out of people, lol. When I wear glasses and a tuque, people are generally more receptive towards me and less terrified, but they still don't mess with me. But still, people in general are ignorant and I tend to walk tall, proud and unflinching, so everything adds up.

EDIT: I was also told that, when I'm deep in thought, I look angry and intimidating. This is because I unknowingly frown and furrow my eyebrows. As I am a straight hardcore scholar (lol), I find myself deep in thought quite often.
