PART 14
Sorry didn't update last night, never got around to it. And thank you very much for your feed back. I try to copy the style of Subrosa, dont know if she ever was around here, but over at the heaven forum, her work was legendary.
A short but picture heavy update this time.
Turn 35, year 1553, fall.
The siege of Owari:
The speech:
The Hattori will regret their decisions on this day!
Archers cover all the walls, with melee forces at their back.
The enemy advances from all sides
A massive battle of archery begins, and continues until the end of the battle.
The Hattori samurai charge my walls through the arrow fire.
The climb up the mud walls begin
My men all await the mayhem inside those same walls.
spear men quickly replace the archers and charge at the climbing enemy
The treacherous Hattori do not engage with all their men, what they do instead is send in some troops, and shower the entire fort with arrows, killing friend and foe inside the walls.
They lose some men,
But casualties are mostly mine!
A circle of archers around the fort
casualties to arrows are mounting up
One section of the wall, were the enemy Ashigaru are, is secured.
The other part, were the samurai is, not so much.
Reinforcements are sent to deal with the enemy samurai
The rain of Iron never stops!
But it doesn't quite blot out the sun..
The Katana samurai now fight on a mountain of my own men
But are finally defeated
My valiant men receive a volley of steel as a reward!
The fort is now secure, with all enemies dead. If My men do not sally and charge the Hattori archers, they will all die like swine stuck in a sty!
Two spears are always better then one!
The enemy generals finally stir from were they were sitting, and charge my remaining forces!
What forces I had outside the fort, perish. And run.
The remaining handful of archers shoot in all directions, surrounded with arrows.
The battle is a defeat.
