I just saw Battle:LA and I have 2 things that I really wanna play right now: Realistic physics (bullet penetration, ballistics, armor, damage, etc.), and Tactical shooter (cover system, realistic enemies, etc.), with at least pretty good graphics, and pretty high intensity. Story realism doesn't really concern me, as long as it's not totally just out there. Basically I'm looking for something similar to Far Cry 2 in terms of physics and handling, with a cover system and smarter enemies. Hell, a clone of Far Cry 2 in a different setting would be good enough for me. I just like the way it feels alot, how it plays. the open-worldness is nice, but I really want the physics and handling more than anything else.
Setting can be any time period basically, that makes sense to have a true shooter in. So basically WW2+ setting.
There was one game i saw that was supposed to have a lot of this stuff, and a huge database of guns and settings and mixing and matching stuff...oh I found it. Alliance:The Silent War. It looked like it woulda been perfect, but it was canceled unfortunately :(.
So any suggestions?
