Hello dimitrios! They have different armour. The spearmen's armour is a heavily modified version of the huscarle/kardakes hellenic bif while the Fyrdmen's armour is a modified version of the peltasts/plates bif, the one you've been working on. No matter, here is a short preview of the viking units, as promised:

Viking Guards. This is by far the most difficult bif I've made for mtw because of many factors. It's still work in progress:

I really like the Landsmen & Carls great textures .
The bif you use for the Guards needs stretching , there may be a way to do it with LotR Unit maker .

Ok guys this is probably going to be my last screen and comment for a few days. I can only contribute effectively on Fridays since I don't have to work. Anyway, what I'm about to post is one of three potential candidates for the Chosen Fyrdmen and Butscarles units. Your opinion certainly matters. Here is the first one:

but im almost certain the METW Mod they come from they represent a faction of dwarf type people
