There are times I wish they’d just ban everything- baccy and beer, burgers and bangers, and all the rest- once and for all. Instead, they creep forward one apparently tiny step at a time. It’s like being executed with a bacon slicer.

Pardon me because this is off topic, but when I saw the video from Kingdom of Heaven I suddenly remembered it; Near the end of the sequence, there's this woman/chorus singing some hymn in what sounds like Latin (). It starts at 3:22 in the video. That has always intrigued me. I remember spending hours scouring the Internet to find a clue as to what they're singing, but none of the Latin hymn I came across seemed to have the same words.
If someone can tell me what she's singing, it'll make my day.

no man. the charge of the Rohirrim in the Return of the King is a lot better. that is probably the most awesome cavalry charge ive ever seen on film. With the '600' in the first two replies, thread over.![]()

Hmm, I've always loved that version of the Eylau charge... Good stuff overall, guys, but that one surely has it. My favourite cavalry arm, cuirassiers, in one of the most bloody battles ever, Nappie working his way through a superior number of determined Russians under the brilliant Bennigsen. Nice dialogue, too. Typical arrogant Murat: 'We have the honour of showing the Emperor what we are capable of.' Typical cynicism of Napoléon. 'Do you think they will succeed?' 'No, but it's magnificent anyway.'
Ah, the good old days.

That does it. I'll have to rent Mongol from my local library.

I actually liked Faramir´s charge better:

Good work, Kage. That's my favourite. Love the drama, love the music, love the red juice trickling down the mouth of the Steward. I feel the urge to watch the film again.
R.I.P. Tosa...
i can barely hear it tbh and my latin is a bit rusty XD i never have someone to talk to...
We do not sow.
I cant find a version of it on youtube but the cavalry charge in Gladiator is pretty epic.
