By the time I got a geisha, I had 3 or so high ranked ninjas. Wow, what a team.
They plowed through the Shogun and his generals.
I was finding that the highest ranked ninja was getting slightly better odds for assasinations, but I never maxed out the geisha's experience.
As far as I can tell you can only have one geisha active at a time, so no one can spam them.
