    Default VVVVVV

A Brazilian friend at university introduced me to this, not in a "YOU HAVE TO PLAY THIS" way, but rather "You might like this, check it out". So, I did as she said, and checked it out...

And I'm hooked. I have never ever been amused by a game that is so rudimentary as I have been with VVVVVV. It's charming, fiendish and quietly brilliant. The fact that games that are inspired by a single fantastic idea are still being made warms my heart, and it's so cheap as well!

The demo can be played here: http://www.kongregate.com/games/Terr...gh/vvvvvv-demo If you hate Steam, good news! You can get it on Gamersgate for a few quid.

It's an interesting concept, and fun. But I think I prefer And Yet It Moves.

The poorest man may in his cottage bid defiance to all the forces of the Crown. It may be frail; its roof may shake; the wind may blow through it; the storm may enter; the rain may enter; but the King of England cannot enter – all his force dares not cross the threshold of the ruined tenement! - William Pitt the Elder

I tried it a while back on steam but never bought it. Charming as hell and a lot of fun! It's exactly what i love to see in my indie games.
