How do you create factions?

how do you? Because i'm getting bored with the current factions.

P.s I can't download anything my parents won't let me.

You can't 'create' factions - you can change existing factions to use different name / units / flags etc..
and so look like new faction. That involves quite a lot of work though.

Which game/s are you playing? and have you made all the existing factions playable yet?

I'm using rome total war with no mods, but I have unlocked every faction except S.P.Q.R

i'd like to do this too. i'm trying to mod EB so i can add in an 'atlantis' faction on an island in the mediterranean.

so i need a tutorial on this.

there isn't a tutorial on 'create a faction' because that isn't actually the way you do it...

you need to decide which one of your factions is redundant, and then gradually change them into what you want the new one to be.

you need to look for individual tutorials for each of the sections you'll go through, like;
'change faction name'
'add / remove units from faction'
'change faction's starting position'
'create new banners'
'create new faction icons'
'change character names'
'change character traits'

start with something easy like changing the name, and look through the tutorials from the index here

Besides, you can't add new factions to EB anyways because all the faction slots are full.

One suggestion:

In order to "make" new factions, one must either have them "replace" an older one,
or one must moddify the base strings-for-game-structure-type file, from which that
same person would try to "edit" it to recognize your new faction AS WELL AS the
older ones.

As far as I know, this is the only "real" way to do it.

(P.S.: ONE, I overused my quotes there, TWO, don't expect me to constantly reply...anywhere, actually, unless if by miracle or if by assignment. G'day from the USA!)
