After 28 years, I finally decided it was time for a newer, better version of Ajax. Here's the result:

All Dressed Up
His name is David Charlemagne btw, because yes, I am just that much of a geek. But then, you already knew that. 8 pounds, 19 inches, born 10:30 EST on Sunday, the 10th of April 2011.

He's cuter than you. Sorry, but someone had to tell you.

Congrats Papa Ajax, he's a handsome lad.

I'm just as much of a geek as you. I named my kid William Alexander, after my two favorite conquerers.
Excellent!
As a father, I have just two words of advice for you: sticker books.
When the kid is old enough to play with them, they will buy you peace and quiet all out of proportion to their cost. Sticker books. Yep.

I was very pleased to find my wife was okay with naming him after two of the nine worthies.

Thanks for the suggestion. His mother has already made an 'I Spy' bag for him when he gets a little older, and we've started our collection of board books and picture books, but we haven't given much thought to sticker books yet. I'll keep them in mind.

Here's to Ajax 2.0!
Congrats Ajax. Oddly enough, Ajax 2.0's name is almost mine - except my middlename is the shorter version.
