    Question Help required on making city models for our map

    Hello fellow total war and mods fiends,

    I am a member of the battlemaster.org comunity, in short a very detailed team based, strategy role playing game, currently over 11 years in devolopment and still going (it's a sort of a beta game, it will never 'finish' because none of the worlds ever get reset, we just update improvements/changes instead of making a version 2, 3 4...etc).
    The game is a mostly text based browser game with some 3d games running parallel to the browser game(for example the 3d mini game dream is a very short game where your character on a specific world has a dream and when finished wakes up with an item and knwoledge gained in that dream/3d game, which he can use in the browser game(battlemaster)).
    Where trying to move more and more into a 3d graphical game as a whole, starting with our map.
    Our ambitions are high, where hoping to make one of a kind realtime (live) maps for our worlds with incredible detail.

    Where already going pretty well on making a terrain map, but we lack some experiences and or knowledge on several issues addressed below. I hope to find some help and or advise here on what kind of software to use and perhaps even your very own contribution(there are in game rewards as well as a small financial compensation).

    What we need especially:
    #people who figure out the best way to generate heightmaps and splatmaps
    #people to write shaders for Terragen 2 for good-looking land-types (grassland, desert, plains, mountains, etc. etc.) - I will gladly provide the shaders I made for the image above as starting points
    #people who can make models of cities and towns. Low-poly, to-scale. Nothing like this seems to exist on the market. This page contains some inspirations, from the boardgame Mighty Empires.
    #people who tie everything together, figure out the best ways to import/export from the various tools in the workflow, etc.

    Hmm, I'd love to move this to a general modding page, but I don't see one. All of our modding pages are based on the particular TW engine. So I guess I'll leave this here until some enterprising geek suggests a better place.

    Maybe we could start a general modding page in the Arena. Call it the Smithy or something
