if i reinstall my pc, i got windows7, will that also delete all my programms and files?

Programs will probably need reinstalling. With your files it depends: if your files are on an external disk or if they are on a partition of the disk which you will not touch then these will remain intact, if they are on the partition with your OS then you should not count on them to survive.

Depends how you do it.
I usually wouldn't do or advise that but I was lazy and upgraded my Vista on the Notebook to Windows 7 and I haven't noticed any problems with programs so far.
Maybe they got this upgrade stuff sorted out by now, seems to have worked just fine for me.

i didnt mean that. i just mean reinstalling windows 7, not an upgrade. i heard that u need to reinstall the system each year to let it run optimally.

Other than that, do you notice any problems or significant slowdowns? If not, then there's probably no big need to reinstall. Older windows versions had a tendency to become really bloated and thuis can still happen, but I got much less of an urge to reinstall Windows 7 every year than say Windows ME.
