I guess we must have some sort of complex over slavery.From my understanding the health care problems between the US and India are waaaay different.
In India, they can't afford to cover everyone.
In the US, we can afford to cover everyoone, but a large portion of the population believes in putting profit and the right to let someone die over forcing doctors to treat everyone.
