Anyone understand how to keep your general on a certain naval vessel when you split a fleet? Having some difficulty keeping the appropriate general attached to the fleet I want.

All units boarded on ships stay in the "main fleet" so that if you take a ship out of that fleet, the army stays there. But if you take 9/10 ships out, army still stays on that 1 ship.

Essentially you just have to remove the ships you don't want rather than taking off with the ships you want.
