rr you ended up with a positive score here if these experiences culminated in talking to an attractive young lady I dont see the problem.

Fair enough, a dime then? It's the principle, more than the actually monetary worth.

Buying pencils to provide others with it would count as extremely annoying. So that's out. That means that if you can find or get more pencils than you lose on borrowing it's ok. If you don't, then there's a problem.

Also remember that the ones that have multiple pencils are either a bit more orderly (since they don't lose pencils normally and prefer to have spares) or are losing pencils themself (thus being at risk with only 1 pencil left).
We are all aware that the senses can be deceived, the eyes fooled. But how can we be sure our senses are not being deceived at any particular time, or even all the time? Might I just be a brain in a tank somewhere, tricked all my life into believing in the events of this world by some insane computer? And does my life gain or lose meaning based on my reaction to such solipsism?

Beware, next time you borrow a pencil....because some people love theirs enough to write songs about it.....

At work, whenever I expect new pens I make sure to bake some hot chili the night before. Lotsa beans and onions. Then when the new shipment of pens arrives I take them all to the bathroom and dip the pens in my you-know-where.

I don't do this on purpose, it's just that I stick them in my mouth if I have them for longer than let's say 15 minutes.
