    Default Changing the treasury?

Quick question here - is there a way to change the treasury to a higher level for every faction without having to use the .muchkoku. cheat? I want to elevate everything to around 20-30.000 starting koku so the campaign will be more challenging and engrossing.

.muchkoku. does give way too much money. There is no longer any fun in the game when you have so much funds. Samurai Warlords might allow you to play as such, though it isn't really STW. :(

Darn it, I guess I'll have to manage everything more effectively.

Playing S2TW doesn't improve the practice since STW is harder...but I'll try and readjust.

heh, yeah every time i play the newer TW games for a while i have a hell of a time re-adjusting to STW and MTW battles. Campaign in STW can be also unorgiving, as there are less solutions on teh campaign map for battlefield problems. Although i haven't played/bought S2 yet i can imagine that this will be the case to some extent for it too.

I successfully altered the Treasury using this free downloadable tool: HxD Hexeditor.
Best to spend a little on first turn to get an unusual amount in treasury, then SAVE the game and go into HxD and find that number (in hex).
Load the saved game, and there ya go.
