    Default Naming and shaming...

Well, just a general question. I know that the Org was pretty strict with people calling names of others.
    It has pro´s and contra´s.

I made a post myself, with a screen where you can see the name of the player. I didnt named his name in my posts, but still you can easy find out.

Same goes for other people who open treads about clans or players, who cheat. Right now I get the impression, that its okay to post this kind of stuff. Is it like this? Do you not see those treads?

Personal I want to show bad cheater pointed out, its at least a small thing where people can name cheater, so far I saw people always coming up with screens or replays. Still, it would be good, if someone of the mods could clarify this. If you dont react, than this is some kind of clarification as well.

Koc, at the present, the not naming names policy is still in effect. Honestly, I hadn't thought much on it and didn't remember that we had spelled out that it was a no-no in the Org FAQs until reminded earlier today.

The problem has always been ironclad proof and if there is not good proof, it becomes a "he said/she said" kind of argument who's most probably result is a flame war. I know I (as a moderator) don't want to end up becoming some kind of judge presiding over evidence to determine if a thread needs to be closed, deleted or someone branded as a cheater and then dealing with the fall out of a someone not being happy about the decision. We've always tried to be neutral ground here and let politics happen elsewhere.

That's my take on things anyway.

BTW, thanks for opening a discussion for getting a clarification on this.
