Actually seeing Pizza's analysis on John, that's approximately what I would say, too. Except I still think it quite likely that it is Scienter who is his partner. John may indeed enjoy bussing, but in a no-reveals game? He avoided it with Kagemusha in Animus, and avoided it again with Husar in the late-game. And I've done the "I just don't see the case on my scumbuddy" routine before in such a situation and been successful with it. In fact one of the few hesitations I have as regards ATPG is how often we've differed on such things.
Where Pizza mostly succeeds in the "I'm not scum" sweepstakes (and where John to a lesser extent fails) is largely in terms of tone. For the most part he has failed to engage my "that is total BS" radar, as he so often does when he is scum. As well, I characterized John's votes earlier in the game as "safe safe safe", and that hasn't changed. Pizza has been anything but. As Pizza says applies between Khaan and John applies likewise for me between Pizza and John -- I instinctively want to reward the less cautious play. So my biases on the table, it's now time to go see if there's anything I missed in Pizza's play that would make me change my mind. And also to consider who he could be mafia with.

If it's john or Atpg at least we can rest better knowing we flagged them, but if it's khaan then **** (I dunno but I'm getting slightly worried about khaan now though it's probably just useless worry because all the attention is to the other two).
