(Can we send PMs/IMs to each other? For some reason I read the rules as we could not, but now I don't know what the heck I was smoking. Only thing that gives me pause is DE didn't contradict me when I said something to him about it. Anyone have a firm yes/no or want to tell me I'm an idiot?)

I guess private talks are allowed, or this rule would not exist:

It would read "PM are not allowed" instead of "something isn't allowed in PMs".

Private talks are allowed. Quoting Personal Messages (from either host or another player) is not allowed in private, but are allowed in the thread (these can be forged, obviously).
