campaign game wont save

I have heard that just once in the past, it was a random thing and not repeatable, does this fit with your problem?
If it is repeatable run Vanilla RTW and check if the same thing appears.

This bug used to occure in RTR a lot, where it had to do with activating the "seasons script", iirc. To get rid of it you had to hit esc. then klick on the "?" in the right corner of the "menue options", and the script would pop up again ( or something like that - it´s been a while... ). Anyway this might help you, or you could browse the "twc" forums to find the exact solution.

Thanks for the reply guys. Its happened to me everytime i've loaded the game.When i press escape the the menu screen comes up ,i then press the save game option and the screen comes up,i then type what i want to save it as and press save game and i get save failed.I've never had this problem with vanilla rtw so i dont know why its happening with this.

Did you install RTW+EB in Program Files while using Vista/Win7? In that case, run EB with admin-rights.

Probably a stupid question but how do i run EB wih admin rights?. At first i installed Rome as normal in program files and then installed patch 1.3 and then 1.5.After i did this i made another folder under users called europa barbarorum and copied the files from the installed Rome file in programs and patched them to this new folder .After this i ran EB 1.1 and installed it in the new Europa Barbarorum folder i created and the run file under another europa barbarorum file that the installer created .I then did this with the 1.2 installer.
The game ran but with some errors but i couldn't save it so i uninstalled it and deleted this folder i had created and jsut installed Eb in the original program files Rtw and had the same problems so if you could let me know how to run it as an admin hopefully it works.

Right-click and select "Run as administrator" (only necessary if you are using Vista/Win7)
And please run Vanilla and check for the same problem.
