I have to say, one of the reasons I was less verbose (apart from having a usually "scummy" style) and tried to conceal my identity was that, as far as I remember, it was actively prohibited to outright reveal who you were. I felt like this restriction also forced me to anonymize my posts and play style as much as possible or indeed try to mix it up a bit to give an actively false impression of whom I might be. I think one of the major discussions concering the anonymous accounts would revolve around this subject; How much can you reveal? The only player I "figured out" was, unsurprisingly, AnneThePizzaGal, who has a very unique posting style and who didn't shy from it (especially in later stages of the game). That was a pretty solid clue to his identity and not something I would have felt comfortabel doing if my style was that distinct, yet I didn't feel ATPG broke any rules...
