I can't upload a save for this round, But i did take a look at it.

It seems a big, pretty strong Seleucid army is heading towards Halikarnassos, and there are no available mercenaries, and I don't think I can beat them with what forces I have. Get me outta there!

I can't move until a garrison for Edessa is raised to relieve me.

Default Chancellor's Report, Autumn 260 BCE

    Construction:
A provisional military government is being installed in Edessa. In Sidon, to combat the growing squalor, public baths are being installed. To further secure our western front in Africa, the walls of Paraitonion are being improved and a conscription centre for natives is being raised in Pselkis. Finally, in Salamis, cityy-state festivals are being created.

In Antiocheia, the improvements on the religious infrastructure has been completed, as has the mercantile port in Diospolis-Megale. In Damaskos there are now proper homes for new military settlers to move in to and secure the area.

    Recruitment:
A unit of Pantodapoi has been raised in Edessa and a unit of Thureophoroi for the garrison of Antiocheia.

    Taxes:
The taxes in Ankyra, Antiocheia and Edessa have been increased.

    Diplomacy:
Trade rights have been established with the Sauromatae.

    Misc.:
Lysimachos Ptolemaios has fled eastwards to escape the approaching Seleukids. As he does so, leaving Halikarnassos undefended, there have been riots amongst the populace. 469 civilians died and a number of buildings were damaged. Amongst them is the wonderous Mausoleion Halikarnassou.
Kleronomos Basileios Euergetes Ptolemaios' wife Euboula has given birth to a new son, who have been given the name Oneter Ptolemaios.

Default Chancellor's Report, Winter 260 BCE

    Construction:
Ptolemaic Royal Stele has been raised in Antiocheia. The governmental institutions in Diospolis-Megale are being increased in size, as they are in the recently captured Edessa as well.

A Trader has been finished in Ammonion, while conscription centres have been finished in both Ankyra and Memphis.

    Recruitment:
A unit of Thureophoroi has been raised in Antiocheia and another unit of Pantodapoi are ready in Edessa.

    Diplomacy:
Halikarnassos has been given its freedom, and for protection has joined our allies, the Koinon Hellenon.

    Intelligence Reports:
Our spy Aristokrates Heliopolites has infiltrated Karkathiokerta. It is garrisoned by six units, mostly light infantry; just outside of it is a very experienced but heavily depleted army under the Seleukid general Olympichos Phokaias Ionikes.

    Misc.:
Lysimachos Ptolemaios has continued his march east. (OOC: I will continue the march until you reach Side unless you say otherwise, or take the save yourself.)
Hermon Alexandreianos' wife has given birth to a new son, Euagoras Alexandreianos.

I have attacked and neutralised the rebel army to my east. Edessa will require to have its taxes lowered now my imposing presence no longer holds its citizens in check.

Default Chancellor's Report, Spring 259 BCE

    Construction:
This new year has seen a new wave of spending. After his success in making Alexandreia the most learned city both within the civilized world and without, Basileus Philadlephos Ptolemaios now aims to follow that with Antiocheia. For that reason, a Didaskaleion - a school - is being built there. Down south in Egypt, more specifically in Memphis, Royal Steles are being built to justify Ptolemaic rule over egypt and appease the natives, who have grown more and more restless. In Ankyra the farming tools and techniques are brought up to snuff.

In Salamis we're now seeing regular city-state festivals being held, which will help quell the restless people there as well. In Pselkis a conscription centre has been finished, allowing us to, if we so wish, add Nubians to our armies.

    Recruitment:
The armies of the Ptolemaic kingdom have been expanded this turn. In Edessa, the garrison has been increased with a third unit of Pantodapoi for its garrison, and in Antiocheia, to safeguard Philadelphos new projects, some archers have been raised out of the psiloi. Finally in Ankyra some Galatikoi Kluddolon are raised to take over after the Basileus no longer blesses the area with his presence.

    Taxes:
Taxes have been lowered in Edessa to keep the people happy enough not to revolt against our rule.

    Battles:
The Third Battle of Assyrie has been fought and won by Timon Arrhidaeos.

    Misc.:
Lysimachos has continued his march east and re-entered Ptolemaic land. With the help of the Royal Navy, he will be in Side next season, unless he changes course.
Captain Maroadas, leading the Basileus' men marching towards Ankyra, will reach their beloved king next season as well.
