Steam EU3 help

Pretty certain this is the right forum so any who. Been playing EU3 via Steam for months, no problems then bang, try and play today and I get the message "the steam servers are too busy, please try again in a few minutes". Wait 30 minutes, nothing. Try Steam's extremely useless FAQ on the error message, nothing. Make a back up of the game, delete it and then try reinstalling it. Nothing, can't reinstall it because the same error
appears. Try restoring the game from backup, the same error message.

This is an isolated issue as the other games I've tried loading up load and work fine. Really not fun paying good money for games you can no longer play.

Happening to me too, might not be a problem localised to you. Have you tried the Steam EU 3 forum?

edit: No posts there mentioning a problem, I'll try the Paradox forums.

edit2: Looks like there was a patch released yesterday, perhaps Steam are uploading or something preventing the game being played?

edit3: Mines fine now.

ah yeah ther ewas a patch i think mine just gave me a notification when i wa splaying warband it had finished downloading.

Think that was it. Never had so much trouble of Steam patching mind.. Bizarre..
