Gameroom Chess Tournament

Hello all,

I got the okay from the man upstairs to see if we could have another chess tournament. We had one previously(it can be found here) but it was never finished sadly. I would like to do a bracket tournament with two out of three wins moves on, if there's enough players. Any comments or suggestions on a better way of structuring it are welcome. If you are interested please post in the thread.

how much time will a player be given ?

4 days for three games sounds like a good amount of time, and can be extended if RL intervenes. I'd like it to move at a semi-decent pace, so I would not want it to be more than a week at most. If people think that isn't enough time then we can discuss it further.

I think 4 days for three days are a bit short but I can understand the pace argument... It just pressures the players to sit down and play entire sessions in a row instead of correspondance, that might stress some players.
