I used this thread title before and that time I was fooled by sources who lied, but I can assure you this time it's no lie. Linky is in Norwegian of course, try google translate and see if it makes sense.

I give you the town of Namsos. It likes to portray itself as the country's rock capitatol due to some old farts who wrote crappy songs, but in reality it's just a collection of ignorant peasants, as this story proves.
Two women, or girls rather, aged 15 and 16 were raped by a 20-year old. The one who has chosen to tell her story was home alone when the rapist showed up at her house, dragged her by the hair to her bedroom and raped her. That's unfortunately not what makes this a town of retards, rapes happen in every town unfortunately. No, what gives the town the gold medal in the ignorant olympics is the reaction of the rapists friends.
Almost immediatly after the girl reported the rape last year, his friends started their terror campaign. As most young norwegian girls nowadays, she had a blog. That one was spammed with hate messages, calling her a whore, a liar and a slut. She was raped in the summer vacation before starting on a new high school, and her family believed that a new enviroment would help her recovery. Fat chance, within weeks of the school start, people distributed fliers at the school saying that she was lying about the rape. Groups were started on facebook in support of the rapist. At his trial, about 20-30 of his friends ditched school and attended the trial, making it perfectly clear what they thought about the trial through body language, while simultanously twittering and updating their facebooks with hate messages. The judge, both lawyers attending and the prosecutor had to tell them to behave. The other girl had a brick thrown through her window the night after the rapist was sentenced to five years in prison.
On the plus side, their behaviour is likely to be investigated for interfering with the justice system(not sure how to translate the law in question).
No need to go to Afghanistan to find Taliban morals, a quick trip to rural Norway is enough. I'm sickened.
