Physics is a model, an instrumentalist description. It isn't an entity in itself. Dice roles could very well be truly random ontologically in themselves, as with every other phenomenon, but the mechanical description of them aren't. It is a human created enterprise, subject to all of it's non-randomness. Why would the divine even want to deal with that crap? This is all in the ascension handbook 101. Ask Andres if hell let you join the club for a copy.

Loki could manifest dice for the visual benefit of us mortals, because we like that sort of thing. It's like when Q snaps his fingers to make things happen. He doesn't need to, but then again his body is simply an avatar for us to look at that we may find familiar.

Loki's dice would be truly random, and modeling them would be impossible for mortal mathematics. They would be a theatrical manifestation of his random will.

Also, ascension to godhood wouldn't be a great idea unless I'm the only one who presently can be. It would seem to be a waste unless I were protected, and it's not worth the effort since we seem to be short on protectors.

Well that's his own fault. Shouldn't have been thumbing his nose at Loki in the first place. He's about to have the honor of being

slapped by a god. That'll make him more famous than any deed on the battlefield.

Day 4

The Hovgod paced impatiently. These murders were just strange. Some men just disappeared others were brutalised. Could the men disappearing be responsible for the brutal murders? This was indeed a mystery.
