No I'm not. My speculations based on the following.

Jewish factions have been ruled out several times, but Yehud was a pre-Alexander Persian client-kingdom.

Yehud also inclded Samaritans, so Yehud was not Jewish State, but multinational State in this case.

The desertish background color make me think of some Arabian or Jewish faction, but Nabatu was rejected. The white things remind me feathers of the Egyptian falcon from Yehud coin.

And no one expects this kind of let's say Semitic faction

Most of all I think this one is the last, for the first release, right?

cyrene was always part of ptolemaic aygyptus so putting them in would be like installing a shadow faction for the ptolemaioi

axum or meroe notice how bobbin and moros keep talking about that area and how mauryans where impossible ? eastern and western greeks combined and you get the last cuylture slot \o

Now that i think of it. it could be the nubians. wich adopted the ancient egyptian culture

I know the team said for months how a nubian faction can't make it due to poor sources/evidences for a military beyond archery and spears, plus the lack of a cultural slot to implement, among other things, sub-saharan portraits; but having such a faction, would just be the cherry on the pie :D

still imo should be a must, werent they vassals to the romans? from what i remember from the Rome game from paradox is that they were paying tribute to romans or something like that.

I think it is so appropriate both keeping busy the Ptolemy and an one of the most empty area in map. Also non-Greek Egyptian faction would be nice.

IMO other factions should be Atropatene and Thracia.

Kush/Meroe won't be a faction due to the culture limit of the game.
No native Egyptian faction as there weren't any by our start date.
Neither was there a Thracia, and the kingdom that commonly gets called that was destroyed by the Galatians just before our start date.
