IIRC it's only done once a year. I should imagine that with Tosas' death the site admin have had quite a lot on their hands.
There are times I wish they’d just ban everything- baccy and beer, burgers and bangers, and all the rest- once and for all. Instead, they creep forward one apparently tiny step at a time. It’s like being executed with a bacon slicer.

It certainly worked first of May this year so I think they still promote people.
We are all aware that the senses can be deceived, the eyes fooled. But how can we be sure our senses are not being deceived at any particular time, or even all the time? Might I just be a brain in a tank somewhere, tricked all my life into believing in the events of this world by some insane computer? And does my life gain or lose meaning based on my reaction to such solipsism?

There, but for the grace of God, goes John Bradford

My aim, then, was to whip the rebels, to humble their pride, to follow them to their inmost recesses, and make them fear and dread us. Fear is the beginning of wisdom.

I am tired and sick of war. Its glory is all moonshine. It is only those who have neither fired a shot nor heard the shrieks and groans of the wounded who cry aloud for blood, for vengeance, for desolation.

It wasn't just debated, it was implemented; I recall that Beskar and Romanic (among others) were awarded Senior Membership around two months or so ago. :P

Congratulations to all of you, all worthy choices!

Except Beskar, I never liked him. Bad choice in picking that one.

Shame on me! Instead of working harder and harder to bring about the glory of this place, I decided to dedicate myself to something more humble like the Real Life. Let's hope this is a temporary situation.

And Louis, you have no idea what my irresistibly charming personality combined with a good amount of gold (you follow the market news, right?) did with that list of nominations...

I would hold out for more. Last I checked on the exchange rate, Hypothetical Dollars were only slightly more valuable than Zimbabwe Dollars.

Hypothetical dollars are perfectly legitimate currency for hypothetical promotions.
