I think every faction will be reviewed before the release, so at least the amount of factions that are unknown.

If you are subtly attempting to ask when the mod will be done, of course the official EB team line will always be "when its done", though it has been stated that it will likely not be finished before sometime in 2012. Also keep in mind that the team has stated that the first release will not contain all of the factions, and there is a plan to release a smaller "Gaza campaign" which will familiarize players old and new with the features of EB2.

As for the previews, one can imagine they take an enormous amount of time and work to complete. The team makes them to excite interest in the mod and help fans enjoy the wait, but every preview made diverts time and labour away from the completion of the mod itself. I'd imagine that there are still many new features that will be previewed over the next year or so, probably one preview being released every 2 months or so on average, as has been the case in the past.

ahhh i see, well i appreciate your honesty. the simple answer is "you dont know" which is fair enough. thats all i wanted to know. im as eager as everyone else to see the finished product but i can wait aswell. i dont take to kindly to the smug voice from the back of the car comment though. shame on you !! :P

I have to admit though that my favourite previews are the game mechanic topics. While faction previews are fun and good I found the early Stelae, the province preview, people of north africa and the government and colonisation explanations from the Romani previews to be the most entertaining.

The rest of the previews are very in depth and as a hobby historian only I find that I have a limited interest in massive walls of text that don't apply directly to my field of interest. So I like the balance that has been out there with some catering to both sides although I would definately welcome shorter, more gameplay focused previews interspersed with the faction previews.

Other than that, I guess raithspartan had a valid question for a low post count, EB forum newb. He didn't directly ask the age old question or act all self-righteous and I have to agree that the back of the car comment was a little unfair. We should be welcoming new people to the EB community rather than acting so insular.
